NET INCOME: Nordstrom Inc. earned earned $116 New Era million, or 52 cents per share, for the quarter, compared with $81 million, or 37 cents per share, in the same quarter last year.
REVENUE: Revenue grew nearly 17 percent to $2.09 billion.
EXPECTATIONS: Analysts polled by Thomson New Era Reuters expected the company to earn 55 cents per share on revenue of $1.97 billion.
